1. What Is the AAI ATC DV & Medical
Stage?
After
qualifying the Computer Based Test (CBT held on 14.07.2025),
shortlisted candidates are called for a combined verification and
qualifying process, which includes:
• Application Verification
(DV)
• Physical Medical Examination
• Psychological Assessment
• Psychoactive Substances
Testing
• Voice Test
• Biometric Identity
Verification
Only
candidates who clear all stages are considered for final
selection.

2.1 Venue

4. Physical Medical Examination (Most
Critical Stage)
4.1 Where
Medical Must Be Done
Medical examination must
be conducted only at a Government Hospital by:
• Medical Officer of the rank
of:
o Civil Surgeon OR
o Medical Superintendent
• Minimum qualification: MBBS
• MCI Registration Number and
hospital stamp mandatory

hospital medical reports are not accepted

o Properly filled
o Signed and stamped
o Given to the candidate in a sealed envelope
• The sealed envelope must be
submitted on the DV day

6. Vision Standards (ICAO-Based – Very
Strict)
6.1 Visual
Acuity
• Distant vision:
o 6/9 or better in each eye
o 6/6 binocular
• Near vision:
o N5 at 30–50 cm
o N14 at 100 cm
6.2 Colour
Vision
• Tested using Ishihara or
Tokyo Medical College charts
• Only CP-2 is
acceptable
• CP-3 / CP-4 → Unfit
6.3
Refractive Surgery
• Candidates who have
undergone refractive surgery are generally declared unfit
