    • Half the number, add a zero.

    • Example: 46 × 5 → 23 → 230.

    • Add adjacent digits and place between.

    • Example: 52 × 11 → 5 (5+2=7) 2 → 572.

  3. Square ending in 5:

    • 25² → 2 × 3 = 6; add 25 → 625.

  4. Multiply near 100:

    • 98 × 96 → 100² - (2+4)×100 + 2×4 → 9216.

  5. Percentage of a number:

    • 10% → ÷10; 5% → half of 10%; 20% → double 10%.

  6. Multiply by 9:

    • Multiply by 10, then subtract the number.

    • Example: 47 × 9 → 470 - 47 → 423.

  7. Divisibility by 3/9:

    • The sum of digits divisible by 3 or 9.

  8. Divisibility by 11:
